downloaded your action set and loaded .atn files to CS5, the actions will not play with out showing error ” unable to copy at this time” etc, for every step. Please advise.

First, CTRL+click the layer thumb to load a selection, then run the action (check the “readme” file). It’s a necessary step for the action to work with multiple image sizes.

I’ve bought and downloaded the drop shadow generator OK. What am I supposed to with the .atn file now?
Do I have to put it somewhere in the plug-ins folder or what?
Thanks for your prompt feedback.

Double-click it to load it into your Photoshop’s Actions palette (Window > Actions).
You will find all the actions there.

Not working in PS6 – please advise.

I must admit I’m a little perplexed as to why the actions would create a black rectangle over the top of the original layer, then create a new document and place the shadow onto it… surely if would make far far more sense to place the shadow layer centered directly behind the layer you wish to create a shadow for – no idea what the black rectangle is for, this seems completely superfluous…
Thoughts?
